How to Delete Your Account

• In the app: Go to Settings → Account Management → Delete Account, type “DELETE”, and confirm with your password. This flow works on web and mobile.
• Cant sign in? Email [email protected] or [email protected] with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. We verify ownership before starting the deletion.
• Regulatory requests: Colorado CPA, California CPRA, Virginia CDPA, Connecticut CTDPA, GDPR, and HIPAA requests are handled through the same queue with email updates.

Important: Deletion is irreversible. To rejoin, create a new Project Yoked account.

Deletion Timeline & Data Retention

• Day 0: You submit the deletion request.
• Days 1–7: Account is disabled; jobs queue and you get confirmation.
• Day 30: Account data removed from active systems.
• Day 30+ (legal retention only):
  • Account/profile metadata: removed after 30 days.
  • Fitness and wellness data: removed with the account (no extended retention).
  • Usage analytics: kept up to 2 years, de-identified when possible.
  • Support tickets: 3 years to resolve disputes.
  • Billing/tax records: 7 years for compliance (no full payment methods stored).

Encrypted backups follow the same purge schedule. Project Yoked never sells personal data or retains it for targeted advertising.

Verification, Appeals & Safety Holds

Deletion can be delayed up to 30 days if:

• A security investigation is active.
• A billing dispute, chargeback, or refund review is ongoing.
• Law requires temporary preservation of data.

We email the reason and expected resolution date. Reply directly or contact [email protected] to appeal; responses arrive within five business days.

Exporting Your Data

Use Settings → Account Management → Export Data to download an HTML copy of workouts, progress metrics, private messages, receipts, and connected device history. The export link expires once deletion is confirmed.
